Brian Gould is a Partner at Akela Partners. Brian is a sales and marketing executive with a history of building successful, evidence-based marketing practices. Brian has worked with large brands and start-ups to create best in class customer experiences, through data-driven marketing, innovative Web design, and authentic content & storytelling. Brian’s professional tagline could be “highly credible with CFOs”, which speaks volumes of a marketing leader.

Most recently, Brian’s work leading Consumer Strategy at WebMD reinvigorated their social & video footprint and proved him to be a customer acquisition scientist with demonstrable ROI. While Director of Marketing at Esurance, Brian created a new $25 million incremental revenue stream from existing site visitors and marketing spend. Brian also worked at a variety of financial services, commerce and publishing start-ups before joining Akela Partners as the head of our Marketing Services Team.

Brian earned his business degree from The University of Michigan. He’s a recent transplant to Philadelphia from Brooklyn, living in Center City.
