Yes, artificial intelligence works for small and mid-sized business lead generation.
Recently, I had the pleasure of being a guest on Jose Palomino’s The Revenue Throughput podcast. Jose focuses on how small and mid-sized companies can grow consistently and profitably. Plus he’s a great guy and an excellent interviewer.
While we often think of complex artificial intelligence algorithms as the purview of big businesses with big marketing budgets, I can tell you that these same tools are available for small and mid-sized companies.
To use artificial intelligence you need 3 things:
- Behavioral data
- The ability to match users to the behavioral data
- Lots and lots of computing power
During our conversation, I outlined how to access each of these tools and where to learn more about implementing marketing strategies that leverage the information.
These are now all available to small businesses and for not much more than a normal business lunch per day ($35). Yes, more than a cup of coffee but given the fact that you can determine who is considering a purchase of what you sell and who is considering buying from you, and how to best attract and nurture those leads for around $1,000 per month, the barrier to entry is not more than most successful small and mid-sized businesses can afford.
